Douglas Unified School District and Arizona State University have teamed up to help you become a confident and effective new teacher in our community. If you'd like to become K-8 certified and receive your Advanced Provisional ESL Endorsement, this is the program for you. With this exciting program you will partner with Douglas District K-8 schools and ASU. You will be involved in extensive, on-going practice teaching throughout the program, and your coursework will be closely connected to the teacher's classroom. Your personal mentor will provide you with significant supervision, feedback, and support as you progress through the program.

First, you must receive admission to Arizona State University. Second, you must be admitted to the College of Teacher Education and Leadership. Your PDS coordinator and advisor will be happy to help you with this process.
