To apply for an open position, please register with the DUSD Job Applicant Manager Web Site (see the sidebar at the right) and submit your application online. To assist us in processing your application in the most expeditious manner, we'll need applicants to thoroughly complete all areas of the application and provide all pertinent information.

Certified Applicants

A complete application consists of a completed application submitted via the DUSD Job Applicant Manager Web Site (see sidebar) with all of the questions answered, three (3) letters of reference, college transcripts, placement file (if available), and a copy of your Arizona Teaching Certificate.

Fingerprint/Background Check: All certified employees receiving Arizona Certification must obtain a Class 1 or Class 2 fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Classified Applicants

A complete application consists of a completed application submitted via the DUSD Job Applicant Manager Web Site (see sidebar) with all of the questions answered, three (3) letters of reference, and a copy of a high school diploma or GED.

If you are applying for a teacher assistant position, you must possess one of the following:

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university
• Completion of a minimum of 60 credit hours
• Paraprofessional Certificate
