OPEN ENROLLMENT CAPACITY
Open Enrollment Capacity enables students in Arizona to attend public schools outside their boundary area. In accordance with State law, Douglas Unified School District #27 has an open enrollment policy. Schools shall accept pupils throughout the school year as capacity allows. Pupils who are denied access due to capacity shall be informed that they are on a waitlist and of the details regarding the process prescribed in A.R.S. §15-816.01(E).
You may contact the New Student Center at (520) 364-2447 for additional information regarding Open Enrollment.
In compliance with A.R.S. §15-816, each school's capacity is listed on this page with which grade levels and/or specialized programming is currently available for the acceptance of Open Enrollment. Please note that capacities fluctuate with enrollment throughout the school year. This information will be updated every 12 weeks.
The capacity for each individual student is based on the totality of their needs and services, not on the available capacity for just a portion of their services.
Current open enrollment capacities listed below do not reflect availability for the 2022-2023 school year. If you are enrolling a student under open enrollment for the next school year, please contact the New Student Center.
