Staying on top of your child's attendance just got a lot easier.
Starting August 17, Sarah Marley Elementary will be using a new text-based system to keep you informed when your child is absent — and to make it simple for you to respond, ask questions, and share notes, all without a phone call.
Here's what's new:
You'll receive a text when your child is absent. A message will come from (520) 412 8708 — save this number in your contacts so you never miss it.
You can text back directly. Reply to confirm an absence, share the reason, or ask a question. It's that simple.
You can send photos of notes by text. Need to submit a parent note or a doctor's note? Just take a photo and text it to the same number — no need to drop anything off at the office.
You can proactively text us. Know that your child will be absent? Send us a text to (520) 412 8708, and we’ll update the record accordingly.
The texts are powered by our AI attendance assistant. Every response goes directly to our attendance team, and your child's record is updated accordingly.
