Hi. This is a message from Faras Elementary. Faras 5th Graders will be state testing for science on Monday, March 29, 2021 and Tuesday, March 30, 2021.
On Monday, March 29th, 2021, the in-person students will be tested during their regular scheduled school day. On Tuesday, March 30th, 2021, the online 5th graders will report to the school by 8:00 a.m. for testing. As your online student completes testing, you will be contacted to pick up your child. Please expect a call from our office for more details or if you have any questions please contact us.
Just a reminder that Wednesday is a Distance Learning Day and students need to attend classes virtually and submit their attendance. Safe Learning Spaces will be open at all schools. Thank you!
Spring Break is Monday, March 8th through Friday, March 12th. There will be NO School and all School offices will be closed for Spring Break. District Offices will remain open. School will resume on Monday, March 15th. Thank you!

Hi! This is a message from Faras Elementary. AZELLA Testing will begin Monday, February 1, 2021 at our site. If your child is testing, please expect a call from our office and check your child’s email for the parent letter that was sent to you with additional information. Our instructional staff will be contacting you as well. AZELLA testing needs to take place on site and all Covid-19 protocols will be followed. If you have any questions, please contact our office.

Please keep in mind that if your child attends the Safe Learning Space and is not feeling well and has any symptoms of a cold, such as fever, coughing, dizziness, chills or other signs of illness, or possible exposure to Covid-19, we encourage you to keep your child at home and contact our office and report their absence. If they are sent to the safe learning space with any symptoms of a cold, they will be sent home. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

As a reminder, the DUSD Child Nutrition Department will begin operating tomorrow, December 1, 2020. All 8 school sites will be open from 10am-1pm and be functioning under the same guidelines. Thank you!
