Please be advised that Wednesday, September 7th, is NOT an early release day, it will be a regular day. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, September 8th, from 1PM-7PM. Both Thursday, 09/08, and Friday, 09/09, are early release days. Thank you!
Hi. This is a message from Faras Elementary. It is Black and Gold Day tomorrow! Wear your best black and gold attire and lets support our DHS Bulldogs tomorrow Friday, September 2, 2022. If your child is not participating, they must must follow the school uniform dress code. Let's show our school spirit! Go PAX WildCATS and Future Bulldogs!
In observance of Labor Day, there will be NO School and all District Offices will be closed on Monday, September 5th. Thank you!

20th Annual Douglas CARE Fair Back 2 School Event- this Saturday, August 6th, from 9am-11am! All Middle & High school students must have their school ID and Elementary students must have a school letter (provided by teacher).
Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 3rd, is the first day of school! It will be a Regular Full Day and NO early release. See you tomorrow! Thank you!

On Monday, July 25 & Wednesday, July 27th, the Douglas Public Library will be hosting SEAGO's Affordable Connectivity Program. This program is an FCC program that helps connect families and households struggling to afford internet services.
Time: 10:30 am- 4:00 pm

The Benefit provides: Up to $30/month discount for internet service
Who is Eligible: A household is eligible for ACP if the household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

In an attempt to be better prepared as a District for the upcoming school year, we have been working and collaborating with local law enforcement and our security team to plan for summer active shooter training, better known as ALICE. We feel these trainings are essential and will better prepare you for school safety protocols. These trainings are for all District staff.

FREE SUMMER BREAKFAST & LUNCH MEALS will be provided for all children 18 and under starting May 31st! Children will need to eat at school site. Please see flyer for school sites & times!
