Red Ribbon Week has concluded and we would like to take a moment to thank all the agencies that came out to visit Faras Elementary School this week. Our students had a full week and loved having everyone here! We appreciate everyone taking time out of their busy schedules to come talk to our students and educate them on the importance of living a drug-free life. Thank you to our Douglas City Mayor Huish, U.S Customs and Border Protection, Arizona Department of Corrections, Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas Police Department, Douglas Fire Department, Pirtleville Fire Department, and United States Border Patrol. We appreciate you!

We are kicking off Red Ribbon Week on Monday by wearing RED! Show your Red Ribbon Week spirit and lets make a sea of red! Here is a list of all the spirit days. Have a great weekend!

Hello Parents/Guardians: Just a quick reminder! We have picture make-up day tomorrow, Wednesday the 18th. This is ONLY for students who were absent on picture day. Please refer to the attached order form if you would like to order pictures. The photographer will also have order forms for you to use. Have a great rest of your day! ---------- Hola padres/tutores: ¡Solo un recordatorio rápido! Mañana miércoles, dia 18, vendran a tomarles fotos a los estudiantes que no vinieron a la escuela el dia de fotos. Consulte el formulario de pedido si desea ordenar fotografías. Fall Break is Monday, October 9th, through Friday, October 13th. There will be NO School and all school offices will also be closed. District Offices will remain open. School will resume on Monday, October 16th. Thank you!

We have early release this week on Wednesday the 4th AND Friday the 6th.
