Joe Carlson Families, We are thrilled to announce our Holiday Spirit Week, which will occur from December 15th-19th, 2025. This will be a fun-filled opportunity for students and staff to come together, spread holiday cheer, and show their school spirit. Each day of Spirit Week will feature a different theme, and everyone is encouraged to participate in dress-up days. If the student is not participating, please make sure they come to school in uniform. Please see the flyer for more information! Happy Holidays!

Santa Claus will visit Joe Carlson Elementary School on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, to take pictures. Order forms from Diane's Photography were provided to students. If interested, please fill out and return the form with payment (cash or check), or, if you paid via QR Code or Zelle, the order form must still be submitted and include the confirmation number. Students who will take a picture can come dressed up. Those not participating must wear their school uniform. We appreciate your support!

Santa Claus visitará la escuela primaria Joe Carlson el martes 9 de diciembre de 2025 para tomarse fotos con los alumnos. Se entregaron a los estudiantes los formularios de pedido de Diane's Photography. Si están interesados, por favor completen y devuelvan el formulario con el pago (en efectivo o por cheque). All District Offices will be closing at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26 and will remain closed through Friday, November 28. Offices will reopen on Monday, December 1.

Dear Joe Carlson, Parents and Guardians, we will have rainy day dismissal and pick-up on the south side of the library and cafeteria.

Please follow the pick-up route
****5th to 2nd grade**** will be dismissed at the Cafeteria (MPR) door and Kinder ans 1st grade will be dismissed by the usual exit door (last door) by the teacher's lounge.

Please stay in a one-car lane and be vigilant with the bus route. Thank you for your patience and understanding. The safety and well-being of your child is our number one priority.

DHS Drama Club presents "THE ELF ON THE SHELF MUST DIE!" on December 4th thru December 6th at the James A. Brenden Auditorium! There is a $3.00 admission fee (unless you have prepurchased a ticket) & concessions will also be sold! Please see flyer for more information. See you there!

THANKSGIVING BREAK! There will be NO school and all school offices will be closed from Monday, November 24th through Friday, November 28th. School will resume on Monday, December 1st.
