
We are celebrating Staff Appreciation Week on May 5-9, 2025. As a way of showing appreciation, please see the flyer for suggestions for your child. Thank You for all of your support!


Next week, May 5-9, 2025 is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. Let's show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate their hard work by recognizing them each day of the week. And don't forget Tuesday is Nurses/Health Aid day! Let's show our caring for those who inspire and care for us on a daily basis. Go C.U.B.S.!


JC families, next week is our mile run, and our students and staff are looking forward to the event. Parents who volunteer will need to sign in at the front office, wear a visitor's name tag, and be available to volunteer from 8:00 am to 11:30 am on the selected day. The only parents allowed on the field are the volunteers, and they will be directed and assigned as needed by Mrs. Perez and her team.
Parents who are only attending to see their child participate can go to the DHS football stadium, sign in there, and must sit in the bleachers.
If your child does not bring back a permission slip, they will not be able to participate in this event.
We are looking forward to having your child participate!
Familias de JC, la próxima semana es nuestra carrera de la milla, y nuestros estudiantes y personal esperan con ansias el evento. Los padres que se ofrezcan como voluntarios deberán registrarse en la oficina principal, usar una etiqueta de visitante y estar disponibles para ofrecerse como voluntarios de 8:00 a. m. a 11:30 a. m. el día seleccionado. Los únicos padres permitidos en el campo son los voluntarios, y la Sra. Pérez y su equipo los dirigirán y asignarán según sea necesario.
Los padres que solo asistan para ver a sus hijos participar pueden ir al estadio de fútbol de DHS, registrarse allí y sentarse en las gradas.

JC Families 💙 this Saturday, May 3rd starting at 9:00 am PTSO & the 5th grader parents will be hosting a softball tournament at the 8th Street Veterans Memorial Park to benefit All profits earned will go towards the 5th-grader's promotion dance, dinner, and gifts. Dear JC Parents and Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder to return Summer School slips to your child's teacher. If you didn't receive one but want your child to attend, please let the teacher know, or you may pick one up in the front office.

JC Parents and Guardians, If your child is missing jackets, sweaters, shirts, glasses, etc., we invite you to stop by the school to see if their items are in the lost and found. Any unclaimed items will be donated to charity on the last day of school.
Padres y tutores de JC: Si a su hijo/a le faltan chaquetas, suéteres, camisas, gafas, etc., los invitamos a pasar por la escuela para ver si sus artículos están en la sección de objetos perdidos. Los artículos no reclamados se donarán a una organización benéfica el último día de clases.


REMINDER: LAST DAY TO ORDER 04-11-2025: JC Families, The mile run is scheduled for May 5th to 9th. We will be selling t-shirts for the event. Shirts will cost $11 for children and $13 for adults. Pre-orders of shirts will be from March 24th to April 11th. If you or a student want to purchase a shirt, please include the money with the form and turn it in to your teacher or the front office. The shirts will be given out the week of April 28th. The flyers and permission slips will be sent out as the event approaches.
