Dear DUSD Families, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to you for your continued partnership and support. Your active involvement in your child’s education is crucial to their success, and we truly appreciate the role you play in helping our students grow and thrive.
I also want to take this opportunity to remind families of the importance of regular attendance. Bringing your children to school on time each day and allowing them to remain for the full instructional day has a direct and meaningful impact on their learning. Early pick-ups interrupt instruction and can negatively affect a child’s academic progress. We kindly ask that you avoid picking up your child early unless there is an emergency or a scheduled doctor’s appointment.
Together, by ensuring strong attendance and consistent routines, we can give every student the best opportunity to succeed. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child’s education.
